OUR RESEARCH
At Climate and Incarceration Research Collective, we are dedicated to conducting research that contributes to ending the inhumane conditions at the convergence of climate change, hazards, and systematic racial injustice in the carceral system. Our research focuses on exploring the links between climate change and incarceration, and the ways in which marginalized communities are disproportionately affected.
OUR PROJECTS
At Climate and Incarceration Research Collective, we are committed to undertaking research projects that help decrease incarceration and end the inhumane conditions in the carceral system. Our current projects include researching the effects of climate change on prisons, exploring the intersection of environmental hazards and incarceration, and examining the role of systematic racial injustice in the carceral system.
